June 13, 2008. Dubai International Airport. Weird feeling.my spider-sense went bonkers. usually this happens when im about to get into trouble. since everything's been going on well for me the past month, i think im about to experience one hell of a holiday.
transits are a drag. if its only for an hour or two then its okay. but if its more than 5 hours, thats just pure torture.
and they only provide 2 smoking rooms which was always jam-packed with smokers.
rewind...
June 12, 2008. Kuala Lumpur International Airport. I guess when you'r about to part with your husband for at least three years, surely you'd cry. yeap my mom weeped so hard without losing her sense of sarcasm. so kasihan.
forward...
Dubai International Airport. like i said. transits are a drag. what the hell is someone suppposed to do for 5 hours in an airport? and besides, the staffs here arent really much of a help either. just to check-in, they made me wait for about an hour, passing me from counter to counter. still tolerable, because what ticked me off the most is that was when you'r talking to the people here, they somehow, conveniently will talk to someone else. everytime. even if their alone, they'd find someone to talk to.
i was told that such behaviour is common here in this part of the world.
so i told myself, " just deal with it..."
unaware, theres was more to come.
June 13, Cairo International Airport. Dodgy.
How convenient, the moment i landed, 5 other flights landed too. which means, passport control will be flooded. which was still okay if it was just crowded, but knowing my luck, i dont think things are going to be okay.
what do you know, people here dont queue.
im starting to regret this trip.
