YOU WHOM LOVES MUSIC

We all love music. Every individual has their own taste in music. To break it down into categories would be unnecessary because there is too much. Just to name a few, rock, rap, R&B, post rock, punk, metal, and emo music(there’s a lot more from where it came from but I am just too lazy)

So why am I writing about music?

Well to be honest I think some of us are being misled by music. From a personal point of view that is. It is a good thing that you admire music- but please do not make music your personality unless you really are into it. To my eyes you will only look like a sore loser.
All this talk about wanting a band and a gig annoys me. Don’t you have anything else than that?

Why does it annoy me?

It just does. There is so much to this world and all you can talk about is music. Unless you are really talented and determined to get somewhere with it I personally wouldn’t mind. But let’s admit that you just like to talk about it. It makes you feel like you are a part of something big which you are not. Sweet but pathetic.

I am judgmental and I lack knowledge in terms of music. But there are a few things that I do know. Music is a tool of expression- where noise and sound is used to communicate. To put it in that way it sounds almost too poetic. However, if you want to make music please do ensure that whatever it is you are putting together is about something that you know. Do not go around screaming out tunes about politics, human rights, unfairness and corruption when you actually have no idea what is going on. If you want to, then make sure you have a rough idea on what actually is really going on. By not doing so will only make you look like a real idiot. For me at least...

Lastly if you really are cut out for music, and you are determined, you wouldn’t be bothered by what I write here. Like I said, it’s only a personal point of view and I am expressing mine. If for instance by any means that you question yourself when reading this, I recommend you to look for something closer to your heart. Executing something out of need to be accepted (in other words to be “cool”) is wrong. Accept yourself for who you are. Compensate for your short comings only for yourself, not for others approval.

Peace!
